Kenneth Sanderfer, LMFT

As a Certified EFT Trainer, Kenny educates and trains EFT Therapists across several states. He is the founder and director of EFT Tennessee, Nashville's center for training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. He provides EFT supervision for therapists pursuing EFT certification. As a Certified EFT Therapist, he provides intensive two-day couples therapy in Murfreesboro, TN. He recently co-authored a book with Dr. Sue Johnson, Created for Connection: The Hold Me Tight Guide for Christian Couples .
Kenny completed his undergraduate degree in Agriculture from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. He completed his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, where he is now an Adjunct Professor. He is licensed by the state of Tennessee in Marital and Family Therapy (license #564) and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. When he is away from work you will find him fly fishing, training horses, ranching and spending time with his wife, Suzette and their five grand children.
Chris Bratcher, LMFT
Certified EFT Therapist & Supervisor * AAMFT Approved Supervisor
As a Certified EFT Therapist, Chris specializes in using Emotionally Focused Therapy as a guide map in his work with couples, families and individuals. He is passionate about the EFT model because it helps create an environment to enter into deeper levels of connection, security and attachment. He is a Certified EFT Supervisor and greatly enjoys the process of being able to help in the development of therapists as they train in the EFT model. Chris has also received additional training in EFT for Individuals (EFIT) and EFT for Trauma Survivors.
Chris completed his undergraduate degree in Counseling and his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Johnson University in Knoxville, TN. He is licensed by the state of Tennessee in Marital and Family Therapy (license #972). Chris is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is also a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). When he is out of the office you'll find him enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two daughters.
Kayla Smith, MMFT
Trained and supervised in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Kayla sees individuals, couples and families. Her goal is to create a healing space for her clients where they can be seen, heard, and understood. We all find ourselves stuck sometimes- in relationships with others, and in relationship with ourselves. Kayla believes that the vulnerable process of therapy can help us get unstuck and find healing. To quote one of Kayla’s favorite authors Brene Brown, “Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.”
Kayla completed her undergraduate degree in Interpersonal Communications and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. She has completed the EFT Externship, Core Skills Training, and receives EFT supervision. She is also Prepare Enrich Certified for premarital couples. Kayla is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), as well as the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. She has been granted a temporary license in the State of TN while pursuing licensure. Her temporary license number is 1613.
Kayla is from Nashville, TN. She loves spending lazy mornings with her husband and daughter, is a big fan of the show Survivor, and can’t remember the last time she went a day without eating sweets!
